Where I live mass transit is problematic. There are large amounts of non destination riders. They openly light up drugs in plain view of the bus driver. Exposing the driver to whatever they are on. Changes in State Law make it difficult to arrest anyone.

This situation would be bad for electric vehicle drivers. The battery is already performing poorly due to cold weather. Passengers need heat. No charge station available. 

Disagree with you. GPS is a tool. Mapping systems could do a better job. It's the human driving the vehicle that should identify an unmaintained roadway with several feet of snow. 

Google/Apple/Waze  maps etc. are tools. It’s the responsibility of the human to use the tools.
