Dodge/FCA has been known to use special parts for the Police Package only. This makes repairs incredibly expensive. Start by pricing a steering column with Police package key start for that car. It won’t be pretty. Police package and civilian package are typically not interchangeable.

That’s seems like taking a step backwards. 5th Gen 4runner has no problem handling Seattle bad roads.

I have flown to the next state to save at least $12k vs local dealer for same vehicle. Last two vehicles I drove 35 miles one way and passed a few local dealers to save $2k each.

Two separate friends with 2005 (+/-) Honda Pilots had water retention problems in the fenders. My 2012 Honda Civic would drain quite a bit of water when parked in the garage. 5th Gen Toyota 4runner retains almost no water.

When more people buy “Mall Crawlers” it lowers the price of aftermarket upgrades for enthusiasts. If only enthusiasts bought Raptors, Rubicon and Pro models the aftermarket parts would not exist or be too expensive for many people. Mall Crawlers perform a great function for the aftermarket.
