I think the GM faulty ignition switch is a bigger deal than VW. Both companies should be held responsible. GM passing the buck to the “Old GM” should not be allowed.

We had a 2014 Jeep Cherokee with the 8.4 Uconnect. The Uconnect worked pretty good. Sync3 also works good. I think both are BlackBerry powered. Sync3 seems to have a higher resolution screen

We passed on buying A Ford vehicle because of My Ford touch. Sync 3 is better in every way. If the infotainment is laggy I’ll pass. I’d rather have good low tech vs poor/laggy high tech.

You do not want the new MDX/Pilot with the 9spd transmission. The Jeep Cherokee has the same transmission. All very problematic.
