Penumbra Overture (the first game). I didn't like the dogs/combat. The combat was clumsy and once I found out how to easily kill them it was no longer scary. It broke the immersion of the game for me.
So I'm guessing you didn't like Penumbra: Black Plague? I personally didn't like the first Penumbra but loved Black Plague.

I think it's pretty obvious. Straight dudes like women so they would be happy seeing two women kiss. It's not that they hate people that are gay, it's that they don't enjoy seeing two guys kissing.
