Facebook is going to fill (or compete with) the same niche as Fox News. It’s already happening. I doubt anyone under 30 is signing up for a Facebook account. I (early 30s) keep mine for work purposes and because I haven’t loaded everyone’s birthdays into my phone yet.

Like the only way I could see this thing being a success is if it was mostly built on user generated content and blatant IP infringement and theft. Like a bigger version of Garry’s Mod or VR chat. Like if you want to have your VR world be a big success make it possible to be Garfield or Vegeta or Wallace from Wallace…
