I’ll follow up my initial comment with “I haven’t paid attention to this request by the public at all”. If there were like, some bomb threats, life-threatening emails, or something else of note tied to this request, then my previous comment is moot here. If not, go have a drink and calm yourself.
Jesus Christ just fucking enjoy a good thing for once. This isn’t an instance of sexual harassment or some other thing that warrants actual concern/attention/condemnation. A commercial enterprise gave the fans what they asked for, simple as that.
I’ve worked at companies that had a delay on the first pay period...I think it ended up with something like 3 weeks’ pay in those instances.
