The only real disappointment for me was that the episode didn’t stick with the documentary format throughout. If you’re going to take a swing like this, find a way to tell your story completely within the bounds of the storytelling mechanism. Shifting in and out of it was frustrating.

I’m not sure I agree. While the books get tedious in this stretch (I’ve skipped a couple of them on subsequent re-reads, I really like the stories that the later books tell. 

Outlander still never really engages with the race issues it has danced around all season.

Late to the party, but what am I missing by continuing to use VLC? 

What was really weird for me was installing it on my work computer, and forgetting the PowerPack. I was shocked at how much that I used that was in upgrade.
