Don’t power-level Aeris. Trust me on this

Supposedly he told people after final round he was switching. But, who knows really.

He doesn’t intentionally pick low tier characters. He picks characters that he thinks are improperly classified as low tier. Then, if he succeeds in figuring out the character, he has the benefit of most other players not being familiar with the match up or not being able to find training partners at his level.

I wonder how the conversation went...

There will come a day when Miyazaki will have passed away and people will tell me that he will never make another film. And I won’t believe them then either.

That’s still rub though. The authors of Red Son, of Injustice, of Kingdom Come, of any story where Superman is “off” and try and tell you “this is the correct version of Superman. This is how he SHOULD be. This is right.” The reason those stories work so well is readers inherently know it ISN’T right. It’s about

I’ve always thought that the best stories about Superman involve him punching practically zero people. That Superman isn’t Superman. He’s Clark Kent. And Clark Kent is just a guy, raised by decent people, who cares about his actions and how he’s perceived. He has to be. Especially when you consider how much he wants

Many hobbies are things people usually do alone(model building, reading, art). Boardgaming is lucky enough to have human interaction most of the time, but why is the fact you can still do the thing you love, even if you have no one else to play with at the time, depressing?

I’ve talked to some of my work acquaintances about it (I don’t really have any friends) and they always end up telling me I should just cheat.

Immediately thought of this.

This is bull****.

The big problem with that is Street Fighter V is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a fully finished game.

Wow. Initially all I was attempting was to give my own perspective about the perceived elitist attitude towards skill in fighting games. I wasn’t trying to make a criticism to the game, I wasn’t asking a question about why anyone makes games I don’t personally want to play. I wasn’t even WONDERING those things,

I rewatched the fight, and there were A LOT of mistakes by Daigo, which looked like something an intermediate player would do. He improperly punishes a whiffed DP with a fireball, but also misses it. He repeatedly eats random and wake up DPs. There was a lack of anti-airs on jump-ins and really sloppy blocking

You'd be hand-pressed to find a better one.

I would call him a great roll model, but that would just piece off people who know the difference.
