I’m going to get lots of flak for this, but I kind of love it. Because ten years after I was in a sorority, I know that I’ll never have been as hot as I was then.

I think that talking to kids about something like this, even though it is very uncomfortable, is so SO important. Abusers thrive on silence and the vulnerability of young people who have been taught not to question authority. Not now, no. Its the people who are readying this whose kids are 15 or 16 that they worry about. They are paying attention to the news when it comes to college (or they should be anyway), and if you have a choice, your gonna send your kid to a school that hasn’t had a recent Sex/hazing scandal.
