I've had the One, the Touch, and the standard smart control without the screen. I've loved all three, but so far I've enjoyed the experience far more on the Touch. The larger screen and Smart Home functionality is a big step in the right direction IMO. The screen is far easier to reach and use with one hand and it

That's the jist of it. And a correction to my earlier post. As my apps updated automatically this morning, I received this notification:

As far as I can tell, the updated apps appear in the same updates tab in the App Store with a date stamp separating them from yet-to-be-completed updates. I couldn't find an option to see these in the notification center.

I have a student by the name "ImUnique 2Fine." Yes, that was her legal first and middle name. I felt sorry for her.

I haven't heard anyone that isn't a tech friend of mine mention it. I don't believe people aren't excited about it. I just think it hasn't been publicized enough here. Other than what I've read from blogs, no form of advertisement has come around.

These tests should be broken down by region or city as well. Wouldn't major cities would skew the results? I know cities like New York see greatly lower data speeds than other cities across the US.

Why not put a tether that attached to the wrist or some other body part? Wouldn't this solve the one hand problem? True, there would be a cord stretching from the table to the user's arm or wherever, but it would free up a hand for use.

My work setup runs 3 17" monitors. I have two hooked to one computer that is used primarily for email, document work, and other related tasks; and a second computer used for user management. I have Synergy Virtual KM as a method to control both and love it!

While this is good in theory, it can actually be quite dangerous to implement. The school district I am working for is investigating the use of iPads or Macbook Airs for students in the coming year. In this district, that's 6000 high school students in a one-to-one scenario, therefore 6000+ iPads. In a high school

We do have Comcast in some areas. But it's God-awfully expensive!

Also, it doesn't happen that often that there is a new moon during the Red Tide. The extra darkness contributes to it's vibrancy.

I have a friend that was there visiting. He says it was that bright in person. I don't believe it was just a camera effect.

It's never the only option... I don't care how locked down they have everything, Firefox/Chrome always can be installed. I work in an environment exactly as such.

It's most likely supposed to reside against a wall. The flat part of the faucet would be a support for the top.

Optical drives are almost a thing of the past now, with the exception of movies. I think I have used the drive on my MacBook Pro once, possibly twice, since I got it. For that little use, I would have been fine with an external drive, and could have gotten away without one. Most of the people I know (Most are

Agreed. I spent $300 for my 25" and it works just fine for me. It's one extra usb hub to plug in when using my MBP at my desk. In my opinion, it's not worth the extra $700+ for Apple's logo, a slightly higher resolution display, and combined cabling.

I love that the production designer from NY has batteries in the fridge. I've heard of people doing this, but never actually seen it before. It's really interesting to see what people have (or don't as the case may be).

They want to be identified as a different entity than that created with the 95% market share Microsoft held for so long. Even though a Mac is technically a PC, they don't want to identify with that market.

Chispea mentioned Gas Cubby. If you have and iPhone, iPT, or an iPad, I recommend Gas Cubby. It isn't free but is well worth the money. I can gladly say it reliable tracks and backs up all of my gas and maintenance records! With that said, it keeps records of gas prices, total gas expenses, location where gas was

I haven't bothered looking at the exact number, but I'm sitting at around 20 GB of apps on my phone (Including one navigation).
