Jerry Cans in the perfect place to be ripped off by some low hanging branch in the jungle. Do they even have a winch?

The Bel Airs. The Nomads. The Corvairs.

If you are not retained at the top of the spring, you can articulate till your shocks bottom out. More often than not, your limiting factor is your shock length.

The OEM springs on D1s were basically rated for comfort to make up for the solid axle setup. You could get HD springs from Land Rover that raised the vehicle an inch. Stock Shocks are oil vs gas. Putting on HD Old Man Emu and New Shocks kept it from being as tippy. I dont even run a rear sway.

My R380 was rebuilt 5 yrs ago Yes it's a tractor gearbox but I like it. T case is almost bulletproof
