I have a buddy that swapped a LS into his Defender. It can move. Little scary on a gravel road. When I need a motor it will be a heavily considered option.

Talking with many people with many things that include Range Rovers and Land Cruisers will all say the Land Cruiser is the better vehicle. The just Enjoy the Range Rover more. When it works. Which it doesn’t since the glove box light burned out and shut the suspension off.

Have you done a comparison to see what your repairs would have been if taken to a Independent Rover Repair shop? I know if I took any of my Rovers to a Dealer it would kill my wallet until it was dead from it.

I would think an Ariel Atom would be insanely easy to maintain. Its literally Seats and a Steering wheel.
My biggest issue with getting rid of a Handbrake in favor of a E-Brake is the added complexity and reliability. My latest Land Rover has a E-Brake. When i realized it didn’t have a manual brake I was stunned to say the least. Maybe on a Tesla or Konessegiughgegeggggg this works, but an off roader?!
First Gen Range Rovers and Disco’s share their door handles with left over Morris Marina door handles. Im not sure of the latest and greatest Rangies, but the Classic and P38 and your beloved L322 share many parts across platforms.
