Running out of fuel in a crowded intersection.

I hate the LR_ nameplate. If I ever get around to getting a LR4, I will replace the badge with a Euro badge.

It's like a Jeep, only it breaks down more often and is harder to get parts for. Also their fans have a great sense of humor, right? Please don't hurt me?

Land Rover Series through the current Defender. The LR was designed on a Jeep Frame with Center Steering. They only improved from there.

Let China build your crappy Mustang Gearbox.

JK was a redesign. Chrysler was cutting costs everywhere. The XJ Cherokee was selling more models in 2000 than the TJ was selling in 2006. Sales on SUVs were going down. The Enviroment was different back then. I am surprised it didnt share the Liberty's platform.

They sold 71K in 2006. When Jeep ended production of the XJ Cherokee in 2001 in was around 165K in 2000 and 120K in 2001. ALL SUV sales were in decline at that point. We say the JK is a seller now, but the enviroment at the time was different.

I disagree. When they designed the JK, it doesnt share architecture with any other vehicles. This for one is not cost effective. Why do you think it is taking so long on a new Defender? It came out in 2007, which was during the time SUV's were falling off. It doesn't get great mileage, and it basically a

Everything but the bulkhead and frame. They came out of the factory with rust!

Jeep Wrangler JK - Its a risk still producing a vehicle that is on solid axles and built for offroading. With everyone going to Crossovers and watered down SUV's, you would think Jeep would follow suit.
