No kidding. He is absolutely getting re-elected. The people stupid enough to support him the first time will still be stupid enough to blame all the problems he causes on liberals and minorities the next time around, too.

Thanks for this, Ryan. I’ll be including it into my high school reading assignments as soon as I can fit it in. The arguments here, and the descriptions of how science establishes truth, are clear and concise. As with NDT always.

Given Trumps backwards ass views on public education what evidence suggests that Americans will be less stupid four years from now?

I, a straight male, will have NGT’s babies, should a means to do so become available.

Give this man another television show!

“I’m going to protect all of the science,”

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to you.

But in golfing, you can objectively measure your performance against par and Woods holds or shares scoring records for two majors.

Look I don’t want this to seem like I am attacking you, but I think that the Tiger Woods comparison is really not very good. He is not who he was. Probably the competition got better, but his decline is more about injuries and age than the competition. At his best he would compete with (dominate?) anybody out there

Its ridiculous to compare Rounsey to Tiger Woods. Scoring records in mens golf can be compared to other generations. Tiger still has the lowest scoring average in PGA history, and countless other scoring records (not just wins). You’re way off here.

It’s not that Tiger got passed up, its that he dropped back. No one has ever been better then peak-Tiger

The red car wishes he had autopilot, he would have avoided the crash. The car that rolled three times wishes he had autopilot, and he also wishes the red car had autopilot. If the car to the right had autopilot, he wouldn’t have shit the drivers seat.

Yeah, unfortunately for you, she does too.

Look, I like Finn a lot, but he struggles against a lifetime of indoctrination for like two minutes, tops before he’s over it. Please let’s not pretend that his arc is so much stronger and deeper.

But you were taken out of the movie because of people around you, not necessarily from the scene in the movie. The scene wasn’t just there to cater to fanboys, it was there to show you why the Rebellion truly fears Vader. That scene could have been a horror movie had I never seen Star Wars. The terror was real in that

You nailed it. There has never been a real rebellion in human history that wasn’t morally complicated and compromised six ways to the end of the week, because war is hell and civil insurrection is war where everyone knows everyone and you’re as often as not killing your best friend’s brother.

I don’t see why that can’t be Star Wars. In fact, it appears that it is, in fact, Star Wars, now. And I’m cool with that. It’s where I’ve wanted the franchise to go for years.

I came away with the opposite feeling. Rogue One has given us the clearest, harshest picture of what the Empire is really about. They destroy Alderaan in Star Wars but we only see the planet blowing up from a distance. Rogue in both its Death Star sequences, made it painfully, horrifically clear what the weapon does.
