Yeah you’re being quite reasonable here, so my other comment in this is perhaps a bit harsh - I think it still raises some questions about preparation. It annoys me that McVeigh was quite an instinctual counterpoint to him bringing up someone like Trayvon Martin. If she care about the subject she needs to arm herself

I stopped watching right there when she mentioned McVeigh as a counter argument to the point he made. I don’t envy the situation she was in but that shit is inexcusable. She helped him equate MCVeigh to Trayvon.

I was also in “how did this happen?” mode when I started reading but then I read that this lady had done the same thing in 2014 apparently. I get the impression from this story that not all daycare is the quality of how you and I experienced it - which is a disgusting state of affairs.

I think JustPassingThrough is saying they don’t have the luxury of trusting daycare, not that they dislike daycare as a concept. I love the 3 different daycares my kids have been to and have felt the sorrow of saying goodbye to the staff that have looked after and helped us raise our kids. I feel sorry that I’m some

Thank you, I was looking to see if someone would say it - even if it were not complete bulshit, the story is ignorant disgusting colonial apologism.

Lol, no one gives a fuck why the good majority or Americans don’t care about soccer.

Football would lose out if players couldn’t rely on teammates calling them when out of their field of vision. I’ve only ever really played football so I can’t speak for other sports, but football is actually quite a verbal sport, and allowing the opposition to intentionally spoil and interfere with the communication

It is a good step. He’s been a great businessman/self promoter, but success is never a guarantee people will understand certain concepts.

Agreed, without knowing all the facts we can assume it’s just a sad case of a break up and the court deciding for the parents.

Seeing your child is more important than money.

Haha, as a father/step-father of 4 kids, I’m loving this comment thread you started.

Disagree. Piracy was the only way Photoshop became dominant.

Oh cum now, he didn’t say he’d be responsible for the orgasm.

Haha that’s one way of looking at it. I love watching and looking at the body of an elite athlete doing its thing, in photography or slow mo. I guess it does elicit reactions including disgust and discomfort as well as more positive ones.

Loved Auba’s chip - best goal of the game.

I see that all the time in pics that capture that moment after a player has hit a shot - I think the thing to remember is that at this moment the momentum of the body is going forward, not down and it’s mid-stride, so the ankle is extending, but not bearing much weight....it might also be certain players’ body

Ugh - I thought you came off as a pedant at first but I actually agree with you. At work when we are talking to the engineers who service our machines, we need to differentiate between ‘hard drives’ and ‘SSDs’ so they know what we want. So I get you. I think you guys got caught up in a pointless debate about the

Ugh, I can’t drive manual, and I’m weirdly embarrassed and insecure about it every time I learn of a situation where it’s useful.

I like you.

I don’t think you understood my point - nothing about what I said implied my friend shouldn’t refer to himself as a man. I re-read my comment to see if I was unclear - as I do tend to waffle - but while it is a longish post, I’m mostly happy with how I put my point across.
