I think it’s great - I’d want my daughter to carry on rather than feel guilty, shamed, dirty etc....to stand up and say “yeah I was assaulted -sexually- it was horrible, it was wrong, I hope the person feels bad, hope they get punished and I’m not going to let it hold me back”......I don’t mean to sound tone deaf,

Yup, my daughter is 15 in a year. Scary shit.

I’m sure IAMBlastsedBiggsLostBurner is flattered that you think the fucking morons are reading his posts and wishing he had a more conciliatory tone so they could be educated. I doesn’t stop them from being fucking morons though.

The article wasn’t even subtle. Lot of people on edge ready to go off at the slightest twitch.

Nah dude(ess?), in winter there's enough to shrinkage that strapping is not needed.

I think both responses are valid reactions.

Outfits have steadily been getting skimpier in my lifetime of watching Olympics - I think it genuinely stands out to some people for a host of different reasons, and as long as we’re talking positively about it and asking from positions that are not judgmental, then it’s ok for people to talk about it being

I’m sure it’s totally a practicality vs personal modesty/cultural norms thing.

PS - yes, it is hard to concentrate on the sport sometimes.

I’m sure it’s totally a practicality vs personal modesty/cultural norms thing.

lols, that’s how I feel when watching about 80-85% of the women’s events at the Olympics. It’s not the primary reason I watch, but it’s definitely the primary bonus side-effect.

I really appreciate you highlighting this issue in addition to the other shit about these games.
