I don't get camper hating. In Battlefield if you camp, the only negative is if it's not productive to the team objective, so it only lets yourself and your team down....only people who could be hating people who camp ALL game is their own team squad/team mates.

This marketing ‘game’ EA is playing here is for people who act like sheep when reading reviews and because so many people do act like sheep -for whatever reason, they’re gullible, ignorant or too young and naive- then I have no problem with EA playing ‘the game’.

I'm not stalking you Helis :P, I am posting to agree with you. I'm not happy about the proximity of some of the flags.....I luuurve big maps....

I don't know, maybe attributing it to adrenaline would help you along with that whole suspension of belief thing that everybody needs in at least the smallest of amounts to enjoy most games?

I guess it's personal preference......as someone who doesn't have a lot of online gaming friends, I like how choke-points force teams to act like teams......if there's scope for opposing players to flank you all the time via multiple gaps in the battle front, and your team is just running around the map playing like

Oh I see what you mean. Although it was clearly BETA on Origin for PC, I don't even remember which section of the PlayStation Store I downloaded it from, so if it was in the DEMO section then I take your point and perhaps I'll forgive a few snot nosed kids their confusion.......and I agree that was a less than

Ah, OK then, I didn't realize PC players played so differently from consoles. I played BC2 and Vietnam exclusively on the PS3 and only now have I got a PC powerful enough to play BF3....my BETA experience was mostly on PC and didn't notice players played that much differently than my BC2 and Vietnam experiences or the

I completely disagree. Apart from the Vietcong spawn point on the Vantage Point maps I can't remember a map that was weighted for or against anyone.....sure when my team sucked there were choke points a well organised opposing team could pin you back on for the whole match, but the fight was always pretty even when I

I guess we're all reading into it what we want to then. You see a buggy BETA that isn't testing what you think it should and you think he's talking to people who point this out. I see entitled BETA complainers and I think he's frustrated with them.

I really don't think anything he said was dickish. His response was to people being dickish (the cycle of dickishness?). Ever since BETA hit LOTS of people being flat out BETA-ignorant dicks....

How do you know a modded server when you see one?

The BETA process is where the Devs and gamers should/could have some constructive dialogue. It's a forum that some people are obviously not mature or informed enough to be invited to.....the devs have every right to be irritated by the crying deluded little kids that are interrupting the adults...

Ripping into a finished product and acting like the world is ending when a BETA doesn't meet one's expectations (and there are some pretty idiotic expectations and assumption about what a BETA is) are 2 different things.

Wow, you call what he said "lashing out" and letting you be involved in the Beta is "treating you like shit"? What cotton candy world do you live in?

Oh but he hasn't given DocSeuss that for free! DocSeuss purchased the rights to be a bitch when he got his special edition MOH with the Beta key......it specifically said in the fine print that if the Beta didn't meet your expectations of what a Beta to a game a year in the future would be, that you had the right to

I disagree. I never saw any blurred lines where the Beta could be misconstrued as a demo in the EA PR. If someone is intelligent enough to know what a "demo" is, then they can be expected not to assume "beta" means "demo".

They have the full spectrum of politicians on US TV don't they? US has 99 problems, Jay-Z ain't one.

Well said. I don't own a single hip-hop album (actually I may have an Arrested Dev album somewhere form the 90's) but I can just see the culture clash cringe coming from people who are whining about the choice of song....I can just imagine the sort of cliched stuff they would prefer to suit a war game.

Considering the reaction that these sort of things illicit on the interwebs, I'm pretty sure some number crunchers at Sony worked out it does make a difference......

I agree.
