Thank you very much Sir!
Thank you very much Sir!
I actually went to Google a few weeks back to search for Dota2 and all the top links directed me to places where everybody already obviously knew what it was- rather uninformative for people just wanting a cursory and simple definition.....
I'm embarrassed to ask this, but what the hell is DotA2?
Ah ok, well thanks for that info on R*, I wish I'd known that before I bought the game.
I hope you are right about this in reference to BF3- I've ordered it for PC as well as PS3 .
It's Tehran I think- or at least some city in Iran. I read a hands on this week that described this....
Um oh don't get me wrong, I think COD take's itself very very seriously, but take pretty much everything you said wrapped in a plot I consider to be ludicrous, and that is the reason I don't think it's serious, nor can I take it seriously. I'm sure B-grade cold-war inspired action movies that had a whole load of blood…
Except that if your analogy were correct to the facts, he would have spouted anti-Hilton propaganda and sent them to the Mariot AFTER luring them into his property with a sign telling them he was the Hilton.
As someone who CAN"T FRIGGIN WAIT for BF3 to come out, I can totally see where you're coming from.
Sounds like you need more innovation in the execution of shooters rather than blame it on the particular sub genre (in this case modern military).
COD is far from serious and dark.
THIS!
Oh can I join in? I hate people who take a chopper, bail at the objective and leave the chopper intact for a really good pilot on the opposing team to take and proceed to annihilate our team with......
Damn, well I wasted a few minutes of my life typing 4 paragraphs to you based on a misinterpretation. :)
I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree at what modders are capable of.
This is not a free speech issue IF -whether you agree with them or not, (I'm on the fence)- the devs have self censored themselves. Which I reckon is a huge possibility.
I agree with you and I wish games like GTA had more consequences for being indiscriminate. I started playing GTA 4 the same way as you did, but when I got lazy I stopped because there's no consequences to not driving safely etc. Once I had killed a few innocents out of laziness and the police of Liberty City had given…
I agree. I'd love games where I had to consider the consequences of my actions.
And here I was thinking it was just a game design decision.....I thought civilian non-combatants and the choices of how to fight and not kill them would just make the game design harder/more complex/boring.
Lolz, thanks for clearing that up for me.
