I'll be turning 30 this year
As a part-time sci-fi illustrator I feel your struggle. I hope at some point, something I've created or will create can give someone the same feeling I get when I sit down and slip into that world "a long time ago and far, far away." If I can do that, then I can know success.
That's beautiful. It reminds me why movies can matter, why the first Star Wars had such an effect - because they can take you away, transport you and make you believe. If they're done sincerely, well, with integrity and feeling. There's far too little movie magic these days.
