Thanks again for your contribution! I won’t hide the fact that I’m tempted to do something similar in the near-future, but that’s provided I get the chance to do so :P

Oh boy, that’s a tough one. But if I had to go with just one OST, TimeSplitters would be my first pick. I grew up listening to tracks that change in tone and style according to the time zone in which its respective level is set, making for a musically colorful and vivid experience. Not only that, but the songs

Yes it did. In fact, the original had them as well.

The Japan project ultimately didn't do it for me, so I decided to return stateside to work on another one. My peers were woefully uncooperative and the game they were working on is a blatant Pokemon Go ripoff that should have never left the drawing board (according to some professors back oncampus). I'm eternally glad

Two games defined my childhood, and they did so by making me fall in love with their respective genres: TimeSplitters and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Always a pleasure to drop by and chime in on the conversation! :)

Gun to my head, I’d have to go with Oblivion.

The TimeSplitters games have always struck a chord with me, presentation-wise. The OST, in particular, is the kind of composition most shooters could only dream of sporting, a fact that’s further solidified by how varied and catchy the soundtracks have remained across all three titles.

Glad to see you assume the Kotaku mantle once more! You sure are making a name for yourself out there!

Anyway, I’ll be heading back to college in a couple of days to start my senior year. I still remember the first time we talked to one another on Twitter and that moment when I became a TAY author after publishing my

Ditto. It’s not as ideal a place for finding a game development job as, say, the West Coast or Greater Montreal, but I’d be a flagrant liar if I said that New England isn’t the best place to vacation or, heck, settle in when taking a break from work. As I said in my above comment, Bar Harbor has been such an

New England is undoubtedly one of our nation’s most picturesque and majestic places to visit and live in. Each picture of it just oozes atmosphere and ambiance in a way few locales can match. From the serene beauty of coastal Maine to the pleasantly verdant woodlands of Vermont, the northeasternmost region in America

Diabotical looks mighty intriguing judging from the trailer and Kickstarter page. The fact that it’s being crafted by the same folks who worked on the classic Quake games is the icing on the proverbial cake, and I say this as someone who dumped countless hours into similarly old-school and fast-paced FPSs. Thanks for

I'm quite tempted to apply for the Staff Writer position, but I realized that I still need to complete my senior year in college before I'm completely off the hook. Should I still give it a go?

Already did. Without spoiling anything, it sure was an impeccable way to cap off the indelible experience.

Like Limbo before it, Inside is quite ambiguous and arcane in its themes and depiction of a monochromatic, dystopian universe. This leaves ample room for multitudinous interpretations, so I’m certain that discussions revolving around the game will be both plentiful and varied.

Currently playing INSIDE. As someone who greatly relished Limbo, it behooved me to get my hands on Playdead’s latest gem. Playing the first five or so minutes of their new title was enough to convince me that it was going to live up to, if not surpass, the legacy that its spiritual predecessor.

I remember first watching Good Eats four years ago when my passion for cooking and healthy eating had reached its apex. I would spend hours just browsing through the sundry episodes that revolved around seafood (tuna, salmon, sustainable fish...) before taking a look at the rest of the seasons. Just the way he

The Enhanced Edition came with the Following, so I pretty much have the entire DL experience in my possession. Will definitely try it out if the base game ends up deeply resonating with me.
