Syndicate had a really silky-smooth movement model. The way your character moved and turned gave the gameplay a sense of weight that’s lacking in most shooters.

So glad that you mentioned Shogo. That game was an absolute blast to play! If only we had more games like it (anime FPS).

All of the weapons in F.E.A.R. are really fun to use, especially the shotgun and Repeating Cannon.

I also thought Battlefield had incredible weapon sound design.

And release it on PC this time.

Shimoneta is bonkers. In a good way!

I’ve been acting a bit giddy for the past few days now because of the coverage my anime FPS article has been getting on Kotaku. That convinced me to blog more often and even create my own personal website.

The silence can be deafening indeed. Few games can match the level of immersion Half-Life 2 offers.

Looks really nice! I still think Half-Life 2 has one of the best openings in gaming. It does an amazing job of pulling you into its dystopian world.

Zone of the Enders is one of the first things that came to mind.

You couldn’t be more wrong. 100 calories from protein are different from 100 calories from sugar. Yes, you do have to control the number of calories you consume each day, but I’d go as far as to say that it’s the QUALITY of those calories that matters most. In fact, it’s possible for you to lose weight without

I seriously (pun intended) did not see THAT coming!

A shame we can’t go back to the good old days.
