The whole thing culminating in Affleck planning his suicide and lamenting the tepid interest that it would elicit in people.

Ben Affleck in the DVD commentary makes the whole thing worthwhile

High Fidelius Charm

Rose and Bernard's love story really stuck out to me as a wonderful bit of storytelling. The first scene, where the show pulls back from their terrific lived-in chemistry to reveal that they had just met moments before, makes me wistful about every human being I've ever interacted with.

I agree, his entire role was a setup for "what are you doing", which is a fun and wasteful thing to do that I loved.

My recollection is that that was a George Meyer sketch that he could never get on the air. It ends with him walking off set and the sound of a gunshot.

Man, I love that I'm still finding new Simpsons jokes

If you absolutely must skip the first season, and I do recommend powering through, make sure to at least watch the episodes Angel and Prophecy Girl. Great episodes, yes, but you could probably boil the big plot business down to those two.

Undo it! Undo it!

It's a marketing conceit, they need to let the audience know that this is where the serious Thor action is flowing at the moment in a way that Thunder Lady wouldn't convey. You just gotta go with it, I guess.

Thank you for doing this so I didn't have to.

Baboons to the left of me, Baboons to the right

Hep Alien's Adam Brody.

That sort of whiplash is part and parcel, I think. Fraction's Hawkeye, dope he may be, is still the sort of person who spent god knows how much time practicing his archery until he was the best in the world. You see that determination and that intensity all the time in the comic, like when Clint makes one of his

In fairness to Renner, he hasn't been not playing the Fraction take. He's gotten, like, one and a half actual scenes and those were all on the job, as it were. There's as much room for him to take off his SHIELD hardhat and walk into Fraction's series as there is for any other interpretation. Dude is blankus slatus.

I did forget the part about Renner. I guess it never occurred to me that he would have to be in the Hawkeye movie I've longed for.

I mean, I'm gonna assume you're a human being, fully capable of the ability to laugh, to learn, to love, who is only familiar with Hawkeye from his cameo in the Avengers. But in a world where a Ouija board is enough of an inspiration for a movie, I absolutely need to see the living breathing wonderfulness that I

It is 50/50 to me whether that means you want the movies.

Could be. They kill of people all the time, though, the dart might just have landed on Wolvy this time.

Hey, I saw that tweet.
