I love love love that he said that he's not into Hannibal's Hobbies.

One of them is on fire!
I think, in at least his first very first few appearance, they went pretty hard the other way. He was dignified and charming, and immediately beat up the Fantastic Four just to show that he was hot stuff. It read a lot like Kirby and Lee wanted to introduce a black character who was as far away from the prevalent…
Tragically for us, he just has a big forehead. The helmet is a snug fit through and through
I believe that was taken by MC2 Thor. But my nerd level rides in that sad place between knowing this character exists and remembering his actual name.
It seems unlikely that he signed on right before he stepped on stage. And it's certainly not too late to film a teaser, or throne-lounging cameo.
Spoilers in the form of speculation !!!!!!
That's true, I can name a half dozen post-2000 x-men characters that showed up in the films, off the top of my head, and none of the equivalent Spidey folks.
I believe that any new Spider-Man characters go straight under the purview of Sony. Ditto for X-Men and Fox.
It's also a 20 year old simpsons reference, so, he probably should have got it.
A story set in the backdrop of the larger adventures of the Super Hero world works much better as part of an ongoing comic universe, where it is something like the 11th most "important" Batfamily book.
Klaw, obviously Klaw. Why wouldn't it be Klaw?
The All-New X-Men in question is a lot better than it has any right to be, though I wouldn't call it a must read.
Ah, so it is. Well, regardless, he's an alien mutant who we must dissect and explore, so as to gain his juicy secret knowledge.
I mean, I knew the premise, I knew it was 1st person, I knew it had a reputation. But wow, he goes headlong into it.
I have not, but I absolutely will. Thank you very kindly for the heads up.
I've just come from Pale Fire, and I plan to read it again very shortly. It might be my favorite novel in all the world. I say the similar things about the avocado every time I eat guacamole, though, so who knows where I'll come down.
Yes, I am absolutely in love with the book, I suppose I should clarify. Nabakov writes prose like it is to be mainlined into my soul. I find myself marveling that English is a second language to him, but I suppose that contributes to the eccentricity that I enjoy so much.
