I recently took Amtrak for the first time returning home from central IL to east TX. It’s an 11-12 hour drive, a 4-6 hour flight with a connection (or a considerably larger ask for a friend on the other end to come pick me up in DFW), and a ~17-hour train ride. The train actually takes me right to the small town I

I actually used to really enjoy Amtrak along the Northeast Regional line (DC <-> Philly <-> NYC), because the stations are all in the heart of the city, making actual travel time comparable if not faster than getting to-and-from airports and flying.

Nonsense.

I’m probably being really annoyingly nitpicky here, but the game’s title is actually “Do Not Feed The Monkeys”, not “Don’t Feed the Monkeys” as you have it in both the headline and the body of the article.

Hmm. Not really. But keep working on your graduate thesis! :)

I quickly read about this and watched the video even if I give no f’s about this guy and never heard of him. I’m just curious about how easy it is for a famous man to lose his career.

So this guy, asked a drunk chick who lied about her age to leave his entourage, yet she insisted on getting into his hotel room with his

Gonna have to agree to disagree. Once you’re out of prison you should be eligible for almost any job any other citizen would be eligible for. Like I said in another post. You can’t have a rape conviction, and work at a women shelter, but what does that have to do with you being an accountant for example?

Why wouldn’t he though? Do you permanently lose the ability to get a job if you’re out of prison, but your crime is highly upsetting?

Chill out man.

a fucking idiotic take

Okay, but like...Pharah and Anna don’t count? Is it because they are Egyptian, not African-American “black”? By all means, I’m all for more black folk in the game, but this does bug me a bit.

I am actually Team Davidson on this one. He was clearly making a dumb joke about his bad luck in love and the fact that their engagement was the literal definition of a media circus (and referenced several times on SNL already). Her clapping back just ... doesn’t sit right with me.

Ha that was a fun watching someone tailspin out of control

You seem to believe employers have bottomless sources of cash with which to pay employees that can never run out, thus closing a business is a voluntary decision.

Dozens of convincing arguments have already been laid out to you, and you are literally, LITERALLY, factually wrong and have zero understanding of how businesses, and frankly, the world as a whole operates. We're not agreeing to disagree, because you are plain wrong. Full stop. Period. I'm not interested in a

It's not a disagreement. Disagreement leaves open the fact that either side is right. Your stance is factually wrong. So you're either A) a fucking idiot, or B) being wilfully obtuse on the situation, which is still being a fucking idiot.

We have to be assholes because you're a fucking idiot who doesn't understand how things work.

This is obviously a lost cause. Let’s just agree that you’re incorrect, everyone disagrees with you, and move on.

What a god awful take.

There is no double speak. You can appreciate someone’s work, while also closing their position / department / whatever.
