Absolutely. That would improve the character immensely.

Yeah, the murder is still going on but it's the least interesting thing about the show compared to Veronica and Betty's amazing relationship and that batshit crazy redhead who over-lines her lips (not Archie).

I love Bowfinger, it holds up well.

"For humor!"

So nice to see the Pete character (ha) experiencing some success and levity! This episode reminds me of the things I like about his stand-up and podcast.

Oh yeah, you're right. I was thinking it was about the SNL-type show they were trying for, but really it was more about improv.

Don't Think Twice was pretty good.

For Forrest's sake, the last review should really focus on what it's like getting psychiatric treatment. But he'd probably review it by pretending to be a psychiatrist.

I love her narrated montage of all the stupid shit that Forrest did.

Well, clearly a trial for murder is nowhere near as important as reviewing life experiences!

Season one, right?

Absolutely they did.

Holy shit. What an episode. The Helen Keller review was pure insanity. Especially with the "Victorian era dress and brown wig." Anyone else catch when he called his Helen Keller helmet a "kelmet"? Or referred to "guttural moaning" as a "tool commonly used by the disabled"?

Looks very close to the book.

This is great! Love the show, love John Cho!

Parks & Rec made me like Rob Lowe when it was on, but I think I just liked Chris Traeger. He is absolutely insufferable and I am so not into liking his family.

Lauren Lapkus is fantastic, and I think they were very smart to cast her. She works well as an audience surrogate in this ep the way she gets more and more disgusted with the situation and then reacts exactly how I want her to react.

Listened to a couple of podcasts, Never Not Funny with Jen Kirkman, which was great, and Alison Rosen is Your New Best Friend with Bob Saget. Bob Saget mentioned two of his kids' artwork (Lara Saget and Aubrey Saget), so I went and looked at their websites, and one of them does really strange and gross-looking shit

In 1999, those action scenes didn't seem so goofy.

That was the one who was forced to change her name. And she picked "McKey".
