People have been raving about season two of Transparent so much that I am binging the show this weekend and just finished season one. It's so much better and funnier than I expected.

I actually liked the Amy/Sheldon stuff, and it's because they're the only characters with any kind of forward momentum.

On the Middle, I loved Frankie's line about Fugs, the knock-off Uggs made from tires, and I loved Axl's sweater. I want it.

Best line of the episode!

Even Joe has better timing. And he'd have fit that little bike better, too.

Not only that, she had to cheat on the guy she was cheating on him with, too? Does that mean she's double as bad as he is?

"I believe you have my stapler?"

One of the most frustrating abandoned plot lines of 24.

Stephen Root? Of course I'll watch.

I am loving the trend of adult colouring books. There are so many cool ones.

I thought someone posted Please Like Me, but when I went to post an agreement, the post disappeared. So yeah, I agree with the recommendation of Please Like Me, it's a fantastic show.

The only "cool" gift I've bought is a space pen (like on Seinfeld!). I'm only a decade or two late with this.

I can't understand how this delightful show makes such serious subjects so damn funny and light.

Bobblehead Jon, ha! I commented on that little self satisfied dance while watching the show. Maybe it's just his nerves, but I'd rather make fun.

Yeah, I had to ditch it a few eps into season 4. No Dana, no good. Started to get way too absurd. And WTF was up with that theme song?

It certainly left an impression on me and I like the movie (actually more than the book, thanks to Malcolm McDowell's depraved charm) but I don't find it very re-watchable. What'd you think?

I think Ginger Snaps is Canadian. I still haven't seen it, but people seem to love it as much as the Craft and Mean Girls.

Please Like Me. It's so fucking delightful and funny and heartbreaking. I love it. I can't wait for more.

Very cool to see Vanessa Ragland from the Pop My Culture podcast as one of the improvisers!

I don't think this looks great, but I love Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and 30 Rock and Parks & Rec and Mean Girls, so I'll probably see it in the theatre anyway.
