Gak! I’ve fallen victim to one of the classic blunders!
When I saw press home 5 times then up right down left up, I was like “Sure, and then Mew appears”, thinking this might be an April Fool’s joke, but then realized this was written on March 31st, and was very pleased.
JK Rowling is vocally and adamantly anti-trans. Period. It’s not an interpretation, it’s all there in her Twitter.
I mean, it’s not just about trans issues, as important as they are. Rowling’s views and actions regarding transgender people are repugnant, which is a large part of why there’s so much pushback on the game (being a high-profile release for Rowling’s franchise), but.

This one should’ve been “Should I upgrade my phone?” Because all you did was list reasons why old phones are likely still usable (replace battery for cheaper, make sure you’re still getting updates, etc.)…
Exactly! I said I was “working,” not “working hard.”
Not to ignore the great job he did, but the animators also had to come up with a bunch of weird tricks to get the animated characters to properly interact with the live action actors. The best example I heard was a scene where Bob Hoskins’ character’s eyeline was a bit higher than it was supposed to be, so the…
It’s really crazy how far ahead of his time Hoskins was in that film. He was doing a hell of a job of what was effectively green-screen CGI-era acting years before that was even remotely a thing.
He will always be Eddie Valiant to me.
