I know, I am super excited that I started the discussion of the day! It is one of the greatest accomplishments of my life! I'm going to go sit in the corner and cry now.......

So why is Feedly an extension as opposed to an actual web app? It is the only thing that is holding me back from changing over from Google Reader. Not because it bothers me that it is an extension, but that it bothers me that I don't understand why it is an extension.

I went ahead an bought the extra scenes and the 7 Steps to calm from the iphone app and thought I would share my experience here having completed the 7 steps over the last week and in case anyone else is thinking about it.

Haven't heard anything yet. I really liked Step 1 as well, and I guess $5 isn't a whole lot, but it is unclear what I am getting. Step 1 is 7 minutes long. Are they asking for $5 for another 42 minutes? Which is fine, if I hear that it really is good. I just can't find any reviews or anything.

So the app has a narrator as a kind of guided meditation thing. It is part of their 7 steps of Calm thing. But the First step is the only free part. To unlock the rest it is $5 (and I guess it comes with some more nature scenes and sounds)

I get a really screwed up form of over time. I work in IT and am salaried. But anything I work over 40 hours I get paid extra. It starts at half of what my hourly wage would be and the more hours I work the less I get paid per hour. The formula works out:

"White Smoke" is what I tried before. It is too bright, so now I'm trying Gainsboro and I like it much better.

I like the LCD -> eink idea. I'm using Stanza on my iphone. Right now I'm trying "White Sand" as the background, "Dark Slate Gray" as the font color and Georgia as the font. It is not perfect, but it does seem easier on my eyes (I could be just fooling myself here).
