A BMW nameplate is not a stretch considering it's the manufacturer of Minis.

It looks like something to do to keep rolling coal bro-dozer owners from pissing on it...
Racing stripes and matte black striping on muscle and pony cars is always a timeless look. For other vehicles, stripe kits made the dull malaise era of the 1970s seem more fun and interesting. Stripe packages were good sales boosters mainly for compact and subcompact cars.
This is one of those cases I was looking for a 😂😂😂 button that does not exist on here!
Back then nobody cared. It was just low volume filler to sell at B-O-P-C dealerships and did not require a distinct look. Even GMC full sized pickups only differed with the grille and badge. Older versions had four round headlamps instead of two.
In those days GMC was just a brand badge to sell Chevy trucks at Buick-Pontiac-Oldsmobile-Cadillac to give those dealers trucks to sell. It really was not necessary to create distinctly different designs in those days. It was not until the late 90s & 00s that GMC started to be thought of as a premium brand since they…
The first U.S. production car to get composite aerodynamic headlamps was the 1984 Continental Mark VII which went into production in 1983 shortly after the headlamps were legalized.
I bet the Camaro designers with their big egos be like “how dare you not like our preditory transformer designs. You commoners are not capable of appreciating the design sophistication we shove down your throats because we are talented artisans and we know what’s best for you...”
I don’t think it takes that long to paint the bumper cover body color in it’s entirety and move the bowtie to the upper grille. If Chevy was restyling the bumper cover entirely then greater lead time would be the case.
I mean my Matrix after it was wrecked has a similar look
It's not even a different bumper cover. They just eliminated the black center bar design by painting the entire cover body color then moved the bowtie emblem to the upper grille.
Also the Camaro looks like it’s wearing vintage high waisted pants...
Sadly it looks like it was in a front end collision ripping the center of the bumper cover off leaving the bumper impact beam exposed.
Two Pontiacs I used to own: 1989 Grand Prix and 1992 Firebird
Corolla platform shared with the Toyota Matrix. I loved my Matrix rest in peace after a collision that totalled it.
Room for manbuns now...
With the decrease in sedan sales for North America it always made sense to me for Ford to import sedans already in production for lower volumes of sales while making domestic production the popular selling SUVs, CUVs and trucks.
Vehicles have just gone back to the taller two-box configuration most sedans were before the 1950s...
Why is the ass drooping so badly?
Decades ago it seemed like the first generation of Mustangs developed a “classic” status even though they were not that old. I think it had more to do with the malaise of the Mustang II and the lack of style the Fox Mustang had being a boxy looking sedan that was better suited as a Pinto replacement (it was in 4-cyl…
