Then the 1975 Olds Starfire happened.

The Toronado was ruined when it got Eldoradoized. I like the original fastback style best.

1977½-1978 Cobra II to be exact...

Oh yeah the 2009 restyle converted the rear pillars to be solid behind the rear doors with wrapped rear quarter windows that meet the hatch glass. The first version 2003-08 has a long piece of rear quarter side glass from door to hatch and I have no visibility problems. All Pontiac Vibes have a triangular quarter

You know you want to beat off to this...

That one never goes out of style!

Thats what I just bought a few months ago! Love it!

I’ve always found hatchbacks more useful. My first car was a 1976 Cobra II hatchback.

Perfect song for driving your 1992 Dodge Daytona...

There was also the Isuzu Gemini version of it which was sold as a Buick Opel.

Stevie was good at creating bewitching poetry and imagery but she never never participated in the occult nor practiced wiccan nor black magic. Some of her freak fans cannot be convinced how ordinary she really is.

It used to be that the 5 mph bumper standard meant that impacts could not damage the vehicle body, grille and lighting. That’s why in the 70s, bumpers were spaced away from the car body with spring or shock absorbers and flexible filler panels were installed that collapsed and went back to normal. Cars with flexible

Don’t complain to Toyota about their grotesque oversized grilles. They will tell you “perhaps it will grow on you” or otherwise find a way to spin every consumer complaint on their Facebook pages as if it’s your weakness that you have not “aquired a taste for it”. I realize styling is subjective but it should not

I’m rather fond of the Fiata. I happen to like the honest looks which look more like a natural evolution of the original 124 design as if it was continuously in production with generational updates rather than a trying-too-hard deliberate retro-futuristic design like the 2002 Thunderbird was.

The Tbird did not have a budget for an all new instrument panel so it borrowed the Lincoln LS instrument panel and console fitted with brushed aluminum dash trim and color-keyed lower panels to give it a retro-Tbird flavor.

The Thunderbird would not sell any better now than it did when it was released in 2002. There is no consumer demand for cars like this anymore, especially with its limited two seat configuration.

What you call “awkwards looks” is not why new Camaros and Mustangs are not the high volume sellers like the original classics were. The consumer demand for these type of vehicles will never be that high again. Consumer demand does not want affordable personal sporty or luxury cars like they did in the 1960s. Average

About the only thing that stayed the same on the front ends of the 1979-93 Mustangs was the front fenders. Even the fenders can have modifications to the mounting holes for the various front fascias over the years. 1979-82 was the same. 1983-84 got a new hood to go with the new front bumper fascia. 1985-86 modified
