People Burners (Pinto)

The inspiration for every GM car interior from the mid 1990s to the late 2000s.

Not really silver. It’s beige-gray definitely. Nice colour though.

I always wondered how a whale beached itself...

Yeah a name change due to overzealous Christian fanatics. The entire fear that it would summon “Satan”. As absurd as when people were destroying Stevie Nicks albums because they thought she was a witch.

GM did not even go to the trouble to put vertical taillamps on the Cavalier to make a Cadillac Cimmaron. They should not even have bothered with a console mounted ignition switch in their Saablazer! GM proved they could shit on anything that used to have prestige.

Many of us thought it was a great look in the 1990s when bulbous styling was new and fresh but in hindsight it is indeed pretty hideous considering our taste in style has changed. RE: Why I hate the 1997-07 Ford Taurus.

A Jeep in high demand produced in high volume to keep production costs low and the option profitable with the likelyhood of many takers for this option.

For production costs reasons there is always the consideration of demand vs cost to produce the parts to offer electric seats as an option. If they predicted that there will be few takers for power seats for this particular class of vehicle then it’s not as likely they will tool up for production. If they did and

I always thought the 2005 redesign was a strange knock-off of the 1993 Ford Mustang Mach III showcar in a meh fashion that made it boring and over ten years out of step with it’s bulbous 90s look.

DRLs are only supposed to be used in regular conditions. Any other conditions (dusk, dark, rain, snow (fog) you are supposed to turn the headlamps on to full low beam brightness which also activates rear running lamps. Running lamps are not needed for ideal conditions and DRLs are lit from the front only because front

I like the autolights on my Toyota Matrix so I don’t forget to turn them off. And I do appreciate them for the occassion that I slip up and forget to turn them on leaving a bright parking lot.

Too much fisting 💪

I wondered why for the past couple of years I have been seeing Lincoln badges on Bentleys...

Before LED DRL lights, many vehicles used one of the regular halogen headlamp bulbs and they design it to operate at reduced wattage output for longevity and simply because they don’t need to be at full brightness to be effective. Some vehicles also used the turn signal bulbs on all of the time for DRLs and flashed

I love colour, theatre, litre and especially the Canadians and Brits who spell them that way! It’s bean a long time. Really it’s a boat time...

I absolutely hate people who say Hi-un-die.

As long as they don’t make a LeZcar!😂

Interestingly, the Pontiac Vibe was sold as the TOYOTA VOLTZ exported to Japan complete with right hand drive. The Toyota Matrix was not offered in Japan.
