It’s at best a Eurosport which was Chevy’s original contrived blackedout chrome with red pinstripe package which debuted on the Chevy Celebrity back in the 1980s which cost GM absolutely nothing per car to build but it made them a ton of money.

It’s truly only worth calling the Traverse Eurosport...

Most vehicles don’t use locator pins for nameplates so it should be easy to remove with a hair dryer, dental floss and goo gone.

No big deal. Undo the top nut and lift it up.

Equally as MEH was the Lincoln Zephyr/MKZ clone of the Fusion/Milan. They did not do much more to turn it into a Lincoln than was done to turn the Granada into a Versailles.

Edsel failed because of the recession, odd styling, poor build quality and overlapping price points with well established Mercury.

The FWD Cougar was based on the Ford Contour platform and was originally to be the 3rd generation Probe when it was decided to give it to Mercury since 2nd gen Probe sales fell flat and the Mustang was selling well. There was no need for two sporty Ford branded coupes and Mercury had nothing since the demise of the

Impala Batteries? Oh you mean GM W-body cars in general with the diagonal brace over the battery. I had those in and out pretty quickly. I don’t know why so many people are pussies about that brace held in with three bolts.

Get even with all those Chevy engine swaps into Fords and put an Aussie Falcon Straight Six in a Corvette.

If only American Straight Sixes were exploited like Aussie Falcon Sixes were!

I always pronounce TRD as turd. Toyota’s marketing was not too brilliant for not considering that may not be a flattering three letter designation.

Then go back to the dealer and pay for it!

You can thank GM for their abundance of three digit J-code braking options. The info is affixed to a white label found in various locations on GM vehicles and gives all the option codes the vehicle was built with. That’s more information than any other manufacturer has ever provide with the vehicle.

It’s always better though if it is disclosed ahead of time that you are working with a custom project. Some assholes don’t disclose it at all and wonder why they get the wrong parts when they give the vehicle’s original year and model.

I’m the old school person that will skip asking you irrelavent questions because I know which ones don’t matter. However do not get upset when I ask you a bunch of questions about different braking options or the dozens of variations of driveshaft u-joints that have to be sorted through to get the correct ones.

There is a break on some late model Tahoes, Suburbans and the like which switched from j-hook to a newer style clip-in type.

It’s a fucking wonder how competitive drivers got by in the old days without a goddamned Bluetooth!
