Honda shouldnt do it for the money. They should do it #1 because they can. and #2 because they KNOW current Si generation is a flop. Sure its still a great car to drive every day of the year, but do you think they will lose as much money as say, they did on the CR-Z? or the Crosstour? or the Insight? Should I continue?

Here's another conversion. The Toyobaru costs about $25k pounds over there and $25k dollars here, so using the Toyobaru as the conversion standard you would expect the Honda R to cost about the same there as here.

What you wanted:

This is a little speculative, but the car is expected to run about £30,000 in the UK when it launches in 2015. You can't quite translate that cost with a simple conversion, so you need a reference point. The Focus ST, which is about as close to a direct rival as you can find both in the UK and USA, starts at a bit

One can only wish. I am still trying to figure out who has replied to who and what thread is where.

Does that mean you changing back to the old Jalopnik??!!

You outta know.

Thank you disillusionment...

Isn't it ironic... don't you think?

+1 And she's here to remind you!

Almost as angry as the time she broke up with Dave Coulier.

Not to mention that eventually there'll be too few "newly used" cars entering the sales pool...with predictable effect on prices.

And I'd add that the author (of the original post) comes across as a total douchebag in his responses to commenters.

Don't let Jalopnik see this one..... lol.

Based on this, only a handful of people should ever buy a new car. Ivy league education and a $250k annual salary? Treat yourself to a Honda Civic. You, sir, are high.
