I bought a PRHT about 2 years ago preowned. Great little car. PRHT makes it usable in nearly all environments. It does make an odd noise that I first thought sounded like a strained motor. Turns out that’s normal. Check youtube for videos to understand what it’s supposed to sound like.

Now that the authorities are involved, I think someone’s losing their license here. As a commercial driver, you are required to secure your load for the public’s safety. That’s Altima’s swingin’ more than, well let’s just say a lot.

I hear what you are saying about the Smart Car possibly avoiding the accident. But I can’t blame him for not anticipating a vehicle at twice the legal speed. By my estimate it took 5 seconds from the U turn to the accident. The old guy would have thought he had 10 seconds at legal speeds before any accident.

I think if there’s charges they can change his status. Depends on the dept & union contract. YMMV.

Wow. 104 at impact. It appears the officer hits the brakes a few moments before swerving right & impact, so you have to figure he was going even faster than that. Maybe north of 120.

For the love of all things, stay off Roscoe Blvd. Didn’t realize what a hazard it was. Nearly every intersection is on the list.

Looks like you need to buy it from Amazon, not a third party vendor for that price. And right now it says 2-5 weeks before it ships from Amazon.

It doesn’t help that verbally the Volt & Bolt sound nearly the same. One’s a hybrid while the other is electric. Good way to create confusion to the general public who’s not detail oriented.

Anyone else notice this guy’s wife is a chef? Not directly relevant but thought it was funny to think she could’ve whipped this up in less time than the folks at Chipotle putting everything into little plastic containers.

It provides contrast to the yellow lines so you can see them. Otherwise you’d be looking at yellow on vanilla concrete which could be lost under some light conditions.

Best story I’ve read yet. Thanks for sharing.

Those T-Shirts definitely should have tire tracks across them.

There are a few online inspection services where they will inspect a car for you in a distant area. You have to get the seller to agree which is easier since the car is sight unseen. Sign up online, pay your fees, give them all the details and sit back and wait for the report.

After you test drive and seem like a serious buyer, you inform them you want the car inspect by a third party before the purchase. They will hem & haw or try to convince you their own 52,146 point inspection is all you need. Stick to your guns, tell them you are very serious on buying but won’t budge on an

Nope. Dislike the looks of the gear selector as well. When did they get rid of the traditional gear selector?

I don’t know but I’ll guess a pop out cupholder.

Is the Pedicab really faster than a horse & carriage? Seems odd. Plus I think you should add “Horseback” to the list considering it was our main form of transportation for years.

Yes, and it’s not likely to stay at that price. Figuring out the annual avg cost is the smart play if you are determining numbers for a comparison.

Never been to the city you want to photograph?
