I agree. I can't imagine how pissed both Ford & Ferrari would be at getting mistaken for the other. Those two companies have long memories.

I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure the DA can use the "lesser included offenses" to cover all lesser crimes like manslaughter by charging with murder. Besides the headlines is exactly what the DA wants, either for political reasons or simply to persuade citizens away from street racing.
I'm pretty sure LA or CA has criminal penalties for folks observing street racing. If you are near the fast & furious you go down as well.
I had a micromanaging boss many years ago. He always had to put some final change on a project so he could feel like he had input. Drove my team crazy that we would perfect something with hours of reasoning & labor by experts only to have it undone because the boss needed to feel important. To make matters, worse he…
That's a hell of a "How did you meet?" story.
Ah, I should have noticed that before I got on my soapbox. Thanks for the correction.
You may want to double check that. "Lights" can only be certain colors per the vehicle code in certain states. However this is not a light, its paint. Related by separately, I don't think the average person would confuse this full body paint job with a police vehicle. At least none of the police vehicles I've seen.
Never gonna happen. You have to wear pants to preside in Congress.
"From what I've read, the car doesn't sound "ruined" because an unqualified technician put their hands on it. "
LOL. This is the best story today!
No, no Doug. Please keep the car for a while so you can document what its like to daily a JDM RHD car in states. Inquiring minds need to know.
I was so hoping that it was going to jump the barrier and continue down the hill. Glad no one was hurt except the one fireman who was run over while the fire truck was driving downhill in reverse.
"... by crazy-eyed Ferrari owners vowing revenge"
Stupid question alert: Do RHD manual tranny's have the same shift patterns as LHD tranny's or is the shift pattern mirrored/reverse so 1st gear is still closest to the driver? I've tried to decide while watching Top Gear but I could never really tell.
Doug,
"Accidentally", really? They don't need that excuse if they were in fear of the lives while he was in an elevated parked car.
"What three letters excite you?"
We had the CR-V's driver's airbag replaced under recall. However this was one week before they announced the passenger airbags were being recalled. When I checked the list, our year was not listed for the passenger side even though it was for the driver's side airbag. What gives?!
I think the 996 floor was 1-2 years ago. You could find some '99 base 996s for $10k. Since then, a small revival has come and pricing has been going up. I believe that all 911's have come up in price (even the ugly ones) in the last year.
