I believe the rules state it the testing must be done in the default mode when you start the car. Hence no ECO mode results otherwise you'd have furious middle agers raging against Chevy for defaulting their precious Vette's to Prius mode.

I was able to get 30mpg ONCE. That was the first day I drove the car home 150 miles in at night. I was scared sh*tless since I didn't know the dimensions of the car and it felt foreign at the time. Drove like a grandma and got 30mpg on that tank of gas. Afterwards I avg about 24.5 in mixed driving. Never did get…
Matt,
The original Paperwhite didn't reduce price by much when the 2nd one was announced. They sold refurb's for like $20 less than retail but that was about it. I expect the difference between 2 & 3 to be the same. If you like what you see, jump in a get it.
As you know, the motorcycle industry has been doing performance V twins for some time. Especially Ducati & Buell but also Suzuki & Honda. So it can be done, but I don't know the engineering concepts to know whether it makes any sense in a car. I'd still love to see a car with a V4 just because I love the silky…
Me Three! Tell the story. Lemme get some popcorn...
Dear Lifehacker,
Agreed. I've had a ProClip in 3 different cars and each was literally the best investment I've made. Its almost to the point where I would check where the ProClip mounting points are in a specific car before I commit to getting that car. Expensive but totally worth it.

But that's also another way LA is great for cars. Everywhere you have to go requires you to drive and you get another excuse to get your motor running, head out on the highway...
One little ode to LA from Torch and here come the Bay Douches ready to throw a SF Rules bumper sticker over the whole thing. Go write your own article extolling the virtues of your city. Stop crapping on ours.
That lane second from the left is merging from the 110N interchange to the 101N. Sadly, its the exact same way today only at higher speeds.
Not just the oval pistons, but also they tuned out all vibrations from the engine and the fairing produced zero positive or negative lift. Amazing stuff. As a note, they eventually tuned the vibrations back into the bike as the riders could not get used to riding a vibration-less bike.
You do realize the 3.7 have been out for 3 years and the aftermarket has everything the performance pack has AND better versions of it? Plus a crapload of other things Ford doesn't sell. People are so focused on the factory PP when there's much better equipment you can buy today for the V6.
Maybe they meant the original Boss 302. Maybe they hit their head on the floor. Maybe its just BS. I vote for the latter. Although if they improved the brakes dramatically I could see a large time difference in lap times around a track. Previous gen brakes weren't really that good.
...next to that, that tree. Oh no, that's not a tree, its a GM service adviser with a list of recalled items.
Sorry to be THAT guy, but that was pretty much the idea of the latest Boss 302. And yes, they charged more for it.
There is probably going to be NO meaningful difference between the V6 & EB. None, zip, ziltch! That's why they are artificially dropping the V6 reputation down to the fleet version. All the tricks they pulled to get the 3.7 to get 31MPG they will probably recycle on the 2.3T.
You realize the V6 is only $4 per hp more and it costs $8500 less? $8500 that you can use with the go fast parts.
From what we've learned at Jalopnik, the 2.3 & 3.7 are very close in weight, fuel economy & total output. Close enough where developing a whole another item to maintain probably doesn't make sense.
Isn't regen braking only used when slowing down or going downhill? If so, then I would think the numbers would ignore regen braking since its not as efficient as just driving without braking. Its the equivalent of quoting a gasoline car's range and then asking if its city or highway.
