According to the replies to Patton Oswalt’s supportive tweet about her, apparently there is a loud contingent of Twitter vermin that thinks Leslie Jones is a vile racist because she occasionally tweets about humorously obtuse white people. Um, the call is coming from inside the house!

Various message boards around the net, like IMDb for instance, are particularly enlightening as to the mindset of the pubescent males (literally and figuratively) who support and/or perpetrated the hack.

It happened because she’s a successful, rich and amazing black woman and the racist crybabies can’t handle it.

Yes, there was a coordinated attack by alt-right mega douche Milo’s followers where they attempted to use the Twitter left’s tactics against her, i.e screencapping bad behavior, except in this case, said behavior was entirely created by amateurish photoshopping.

I am both floored and disappointed that there are people out there who are using up all this time and energy and resources to harass a woman. A black woman for just starring in a movie and use social media to communicate with people and share and support her thoughts and feelings.

I mean, we have our answer right there.
