Yeah, understandable. It’s a problem because the drugs is supposed to inhibit cell growth of both healthy cells and cancer cells. Instead the methylparaben causes healthy cells to behave like cancer cells, and it blocks the Tamoxifen from reaching the cancer cells and killing them.

No, methylparaben can apparently interfere with the drug and cause healthy breast cells to behave like cancer cells. Not great. From here:
