2600 miles, top down the entire time. 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata on Craigslist. Bought in Miami, driven to Houston, then Washington DC. I was a TX resident but living in DC (because reasons) so I needed to register the car in TX before bringing it up.

Depends... will it turn in?
THIS! THIS is why we have electric motors! So you can throw a fire breathing F1 engine with nothing below 7000rpm in a road car. With electric torque fill, you don’t NEED anything from your combustion engine except for massive, ridiculous, high strung power from a tiny displacement.
Semi-OT: YESSSS BEST SCREENNAME EVER.
nice 2CV
Amen to that! Some of the fiddly bits are hard to come by now, but the aftermarket support is fantastic as well!
Have to say it would be my ‘87 924S with side marker lights deleted, euro bumpers, and D90 rims from a 964. Surprisingly, the 8" wide rims fit on a 924S without any fender rolling required. I’m certain the bigger 8" wide tires only make the car slower.
My favorite has to be the 968. It blended the best styling bits of the 928 and the 944 (IMO). And where else (besides a 944 S2) can you find as big a production 4-cylinder?
1985 928S- manual transmission of course.
Ah this is great. I just love how adamant Porsche is on supporting their old vehicles, even the more “entry-level” models. All the more reason to love my daily-driven 944 :D
While we were away at Monterey Car Week, Porsche held the most glorious parade of my people on the Nürburgring during the AvD-Oldtimer-Grand-Prix. This massive herd of Porsche 944s, 924s, 968s and 928s was there to celebrate 40 years of the Porsche transaxle. Which one is your favorite?
Which Porsche is Best Not-911~?
