I know you're poking fun at runners in general, but nothing makes me laugh more than a runner with gels or a fluid belt at a 5k.

The Deer Isle Bridge in Maine can be quite scary.

I'm not ant-Winter Classic and have found that my non-hockey friends get excited about it. You can overcome the crowd sound issue by placing mikes in the stadium. The weather issues, well, that just adds to the allure and mystique of holding a game outside. Sort of like "SEE, these amazing players are still awesome…
