@ForsakenShadow: There was this guy who said he played San Andreas for so long that when he went to the bank that afternoon and flirted with the teller, he pictured a progress bar saying +1 experience points.

@apollon: To be fair, initially Halo 3: ODST was announced as an expansion and was supposed to be priced at $40. However a smart executive realized fans wouldn't mind paying $60 for it so they raised the price.
That's a lot of money. Gran Turismo needs to license the cars for usage, that would probably shoot the price a lot higher.
@ca$h: I agree. I like Black but that was last gen, shooters have changed a lot production wise since then. So far this game is giving me a "Black in HD" vibe.
That was incredible. Cinematic and much more moving in its time. Hans Zimmer's score adds a lot to that scene.
@lance.uppercut: It depends on the context of the game. I love powerful women, but it was directed more at something like the Godfather game (beating female store keepers who don't fight back) then straight out combat. If it was a war game where both sides were fighting for their lives, then I'll have to change my…
They may put female troops in the game but if they're an opponent I'd refuse to play it. Never in games do I want to hit a woman. When my friend tried to get me to play Godfather II where you had to hit a female clerk for money, I turned down the offer.
How well will an iMac that's 3.06 GHZ, Core 2 Duo, Nvidia Geforce 9400M with 4GB of ram run these games?
Nice write-up Stephen. What I didn't like about one of the first reviews that came out was that they docked it a point for having similar gameplay to the other titles. How ridiculous is that? It's a part of a trilogy, did they expect GoW to turn into an FPS? It's funny how not many critics say things about Call of…
@fleetpl: Correct. It might be the lowest grossing best picture win ever. It cost $11 mil to make and has raked in only $22 mil at the box office.
@kenjara: As a massive fan of QT, even I have to disagree with that. The movie was just too weird, brutal and taken from other films for Academy voters. It's a great film that I feel was robbed of the screenplay and cinematography awards (then again, the writer of Hurt Locker risked his life following a bomb squad in…
@ubikblack: Who knows anymore. It seems like now it's about getting off the island again. They want off, they want on, Lost is a mess. If they capped it off at 3-4 seasons it would've been fine. Abrams said "It's more about the journey then the resolution" as far as crazy things they've thrown in, but some of them…
Even though it's been a fun ride, what a cop out and admittance that they won't provide answers/the show is made up as it goes along.
@Michael Dukakis: Eye see there are a lot of tasks.
@MatthiasBeoulve: I completely disagree. As a huge fan of Tarantino's work, Inglorious Basterds ranks up there with Pulp Fiction. The script was tight and incredibly well written (true fact: the guy didn't even finish high-school). Christoph Waltz chewed up the scenery along with great performances by Melania…
@lostbizzo: According to the page it was only made 8 years after movies were created. It's impressive considering the technology and everything else back then.
For anyone interested, here is the very first cinematic adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. From 1903 (!)
@Ecks: Reading comprehension for my lose, guess I'll be checking it out then.
Awesome. Any real instrumentation of that classic Zelda music brings back a wave of nostalgia. I'd definitely drop that guy some coin.
Girl Comics might be something I'll check out, as long as it doesn't patronize its audience.
