@mascot1063: Miramax, which was owned by Disney while it lasted released films such as Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Clerks.

@NassaDane: Sure, it'll probably be bad in a film sense. Who expects There Will Be Blood from a PoP movie? You go for action, lame dialogue and to be entertained. Not every movie needs to be Kubrick.

This movie won't have much to do with the games other then name and theme (and some random plot points). It'll be like Pirates of the Caribbean and rake in lots of cash. Want to make a hit video game movie? Barely base it off the game.

Aside from the game, I always look forward to the commercials. Unfortunately in Canada CTV just keeps repeating the same ads for the Vancouver Olympics over and over with none of the million dollar spots airing. It sucks.

@djsmiley2k: I lucked out when Future Shop was selling Mass Effect for $9.99 on a weekend special in July. It was so cheap it felt like I pirated it.

@invictus2006: Don't feel too bad, I agree that the star commenting is skewed. I've been reading Kotaku for close to three years now, everyday. I'm serious in saying after reading 16,000 or more posts and making over 2,500 comments I'm still among the grey texters.

For those of you who played the Heavy Rain Demo, what did you think?

@astrodroid001: I consider it an interactive movie, which is a genre I'd like to see more of in gaming. Mature storytelling, "director's like control over camera angles" and other creative touches make this a must have for me. I don't just play games to collect coins and mindlessly blow stuff up, I play them for an

I tried this in three different browsers and the site was painfully slow to the point where it wouldn't work. I'm not wasting any more time, will just wait until it's released.

It's Rockstar taking on the 40's with their style. Like any Tarantino movie, I'm there.

@Tevor_the_Third: Weird. I live in Ontario and am with Rogers and have a 60GB cap. The max they allow you to get is 90.

Three things:

@Martin Webster: You're right, the creators said "It's about the journey, not the answers." They also revealed that they're not going to reveal much. The whole thing is made up as they go along anyway. I wanted to stop at season four but I've been along for the ride so long I wanted to see it to the end, it's now my

Considering that a coffee is double the price of what Pyschonauts was, no wonder so many people bought it!

You guys get paid to go to Vegas and try out a video game? Lucky bastards.

Ico, Ico please. Been wanting a non-$50 off e-bay copy for about 3 years now.

J.J. Abrams said something like, "It's more about the journey then the payoff." At around season four I realized the writers just make it up as they go along (revealed in the special features. They have a general idea and make everything else up) and they thrive on the forum postings which are more interesting then

I just beat Uncharted 2 for the second time. But this was an event, for it was my first time experiencing it on a 52 inch 240hz Bravia. Compared to playing the game on my eight year old little tv, it was about a thousand times better. I just couldn't stop playing.

As a fan of the games, this is a silly argument. Video games aren't a sport, if I were an Olympic athlete I'd be insulted to be classed with people who sit in front of a tv. You can be of whatever weight and be a master at Tetris, or learn all the tricks to be the best at Starcraft, doesn't mean you're an athlete. You

I bought this game on boxing day for $40 so for the price of a coffee that you can down in five minutes, it wasn't a problem shelling out for an hour of extra gameplay (PS3, $4). I don't know how anyone expected more, it's the exact same length as any of the other chapters. If you know exactly what you are getting
