I've been reading Kotaku for nearly three years now and this is the best article I've ever read. Completely honest, well written, informative and engaging. To find that everything worked in the end (including the romance) made it seem like one of those movies where someone learns from life. #gamingaddiction

What would be said if I bought an R4 cart only to make my DS have music functionality and emulate NES, SNES and Genesis games? What if you only (not that most people would do this) downloaded the games you already purchased for your DS so you wouldn't have to carry them around? You can use these legally, it's just

All this smugness is starting to make me feel bad for Treyarch. I'm not the biggest fan of their COD titles but WaW managed to do some successful things. It seems like Infinity Ward has to step up and say, "Oh, they're doing it wrong." Sure, they created the franchise and it must be tough seeing another developer make

When Naughty Dog announced multiplayer for Uncharted I thought it was a bad idea. How can you make an large world action/platformer a workable online shooter? It didn't feel like Gears or anything for that matter. After playing the beta and now the full retail copy, the online is great. I've learned to not doubt a

This is a great feature, though even for Xbox my friend and I talk over the phone... With these added updates to the service I'm about 80% sure when my XBL script ends in August I won't be renewing it.

I just came back from the store after picking it up. The mutiplayer (in the beta) was a blast, can't wait to get into it after the solo quest is completed. I also managed to score a sweet deal on inFamous while I was there too.

....and $40 here in Canada where you can buy the disc copy NEW almost anywhere you go for thirty. Too bad.

@krishna830: I have a 360 and a PS3 but come on, what a diss to PS3 users by hyping the "great" version....I remember them making a statement on their dislike for developing for that system. It's like they don't care about that fanbase at all. Exclusive avatar stuff, earlier map packs, a special edition console.

I have a feeling this will only do slightly better then the Halo 3 Legendary edition. A drastic price drop in the near future. $150 for ONE game? Damn. I got the LE for $99 with Lost Planet thrown in for free. For $150 they should give you MW one too.

When I was twelve or thirteen playing Resident Evil 2. Walking through the hallway and all of a sudden *Boom* hands burst out of the wall grabbing you. First time that happened I jumped and yelled, really creepy.

I guess "Summer of 69" will fly right over kids heads then.

Deja vu, this whole time I thought it was coming out for PS3 too. I remember there being a thread of people wondering how those who didn't play the first game would know what was going on. It makes sense. Want more money? Release multi-plat.

I think this movie is going to do well because it'll have barely anything to do with the game besides the title and some minor plot inspirations. I'm thinking this movie will be in a similar vein to the Pirates of the Carribbean series. When someone pitched the concept of "It's based on a theme park ride" I thought it

How many of you are getting Uncharted? Between the big rush of games being released this and next month, which one is most important to you?

The average gamer (not us) isn't going to see as many negatives. My friend who keeps up on the latest games told me, "Download only is more convenient though, that's why it costs the same. You can take it on the go."

@Archaotic: "Don't people use COMPUTERS anymore?"

The OCD in me used to be obsessed with getting certain achievements. Now I avoid them and prefer games that don't have them just like the olden days. Sure, they can make some more longevity but they ca also make you sit through some pretty tedious tasks.
