$99.99? HILARIOUS!
@gold163 (° д° ): Surprisingly, here in Canada (at least where I live in Ontario) it's still $60 everywhere. The cheapest I've seen it is $50 which was strange since the Orange box is only twenty.
@Johnny Dactyl: You know people from Infinity Ward read these posts and the comments....your gamertag is in your profile.
Good, I've been waiting for Left 4 Dead to drop price, same with The Force Unleashed. Now I look forward to the PS3 side for Killzone 2 and the original LBP to go to $30.
This is ridiculous. I see movies based on true events like "Black Hawk Down", or watch "The Kingdom" or any number of other modern war movies and wish I could play it. So I pick up Call of Duty. It's not going to work the other way around, in my opinion this isn't a very good idea at all. There are enough war movies…
Stop saying the days that games are sold in cases are nearing extinction, they are not.
Has anyone in the press been able to review or play more then a beta of Saw? That title is looking like an epic bomb right about now.
@Theoutlet: I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but he's terrible. He has a bad tendency of speaking over his guests and changing the topic in the process. He kills almost everything by laughing or smirking at every single joke he makes. His show's format isn't very interesting, his interviews seem to…
If I could double heart Yossarrian, I would. Awesome comments this week.
I'll be getting the Raconteurs and one Alanis track. I'm glad I didn't get the R's for GH: WT.
I'm super psyched but will probably only buy about half of the tracks (depending on price). The Beatles Rock Band has given me my classic mix for now.
I didn't know what to expect gameplay wise going into the demo and was surprised to find out how hilarious and awesome this game is. This one came out of nowhere for me and will be picked up (just when it's cheaper.)
@BubbleF**kingBuddy: Because there's a difference between journalists and bloggers?
@sazzrah: Thank you, unlike V1L3, you got where I'm coming from. Roger Ebert always said "I review films from the perspective of who they're targeted at." I watched it for what it was, a teenage romantic movie with vampires. It did it's job well.
Dare I say it, I actually enjoyed the Twilight film. When I want to watch "There Will Be Blood" or "Magnolia" I'll watch them, but as a time passing teenage romance movie it did its job well. I also liked that Catherine Hardwicke (of Thirteen fame) gave it some flare with her directing.
@WolfmanWalt: Uh, Titanic is tied with Ben Hur and LOTR for most Oscars ever won at eleven. It was voted on in every respective category by members of the academy. There's a reason it won Best Picture. It's filmmaking technicality is extremely impressive. The direction, art design, performances and script make it…
Based on the demo for the first Uncharted I thought the game wasn't very good. The graphics were great but I wasn't a fan of what it was offering. Once I read all the reviews and purchased the game on chance alone it quickly became one of my favorites of this gen. It all comes down to what is chosen to represent the…
I haven't bought this game yet, I've been waiting for a price drop. As long as it has Dualshock 3 controls and a separate option to use the wand, I'm in.
I'm less concerned about how these "husband and wife" productions turn out and more worried that film goers will confuse this guy with the brilliance that is "Paul Thomas Anderson." There will be blood if people claim he made the RE films.
I take the first one as "You as a gamer connecting with Nazis" as in, I play Call of Duty World At War and am connecting with players who are nazis in the title or who also mow them down. I don't know, I am probably looking too much into it, but they are eyecatching.
