That Brendon Walsh/Donald Glover/Jessica St. Clair as Marissa Wompler episode is my favorite. The prank call, Marissa reading from the adult romance novel at great depth, Walsh's Italian chef character, and Glover's bewilderment at everything are all hilarious.

I really want to hear the Brian Wilson stuff and really really don't want to hear the Mike Love stuff. I read in an article that "Summer's Gone" he wrote with the idea that it was going to be the last Beach Boys song, or the title of the last Beach Boys album or somesuch.

Seriously, I was genuinely shocked that suddenly she was an actual character with motivations to play. Good for her actress.

Turns out in this picture Joey Ramone was secretly a member of the English aristocracy. And also a Nazi, and dying slowly of cancer.

Oh good, the episodes are on the CW site too? I totally forgot what night it aired on so I forgot to DVR most of it, but I thought the pilot was shockingly not bad.

I was there live for this! Really fun, though at a certain point it just starts to drag because you can only sustain the concept for so long without skipping scenes and they opted to see how far they could get in the time allotted to them.

@avclub-e1e84d33778737c0a16ede94d51f3752:disqus Yeah, you're right, I forgot about Chevy. There's no way Chevy didn't get a ton of shit. I also remember a great anecdote about how the SNL writers in the first season absolutely detested writing for the Muppets.

I read Live From New York in high school and can't remember anything about him in it. Clearly this is a good excuse to reread it! (The only person I remember being slagged off on in the book is Janeane Garofalo.)

Harry Shearer's an asshole? I already knew about Guest.

Yeah, I'm not excited in the slightest about more Glee Project kids. Unique is the only one that's worked out at all.

My favorite part of that was that even after all the sincere stuff, the moment they cut to Tracy Morgan the audience immediately started laughing because they knew he was going to do something like that.
