Sarah Drew
It's funny seeing her on Glee playing a neurotic teenage girl a good twelve years after her first recurring role on TV on Daria, where she voiced… a neurotic teenage girl, to great effect. I see she's apparently got a role on Mad Men according to Wiki, that's just another reason why it needs to reach the

Yeah, White Blood Cells is maybe my third-favorite White Stripes album, it pales in comparison to both Elephant and De Stjil. White Blood Cells starts out great but falls off about halfway through.

Yeah, sorry, you're wrong, guy. I mean, the Tim Gunn thing was pretty sub-Michael Scott but by and large Amy Poehler has been exceptional this season, the show absolutely wouldn't work without her. Her gleeful "DISqualified!" in the wake of the murinal puns was one of the funniest bits in the episode.

It's very very tough between Up vs. Coraline for me. I'm sure Ponyo was good too as I love Miyazaki but I still have yet to see it. I think I might have enjoyed Up more but at the same time it's about time Pixar *lost* Best Animated for once.

I say, Robot House, your watercraft is as ill-designed as you yourselves.

Also, long series of dashes, you thought Smokin' Aces was aiming to be a Tarantino knock-off? I thought the director was trying to imitate Guy Ritchie, what with the long string of quirky criminal types who kill each other off in random succession.

I saw it after I had a bunch of friends singing the praises of it and talking it up as being this great movie, and in that regard when it came up on my Netflix queue I couldn't help but be disappointed that it turned out to just be an okayish action movie with an entertaining performance by Willem Dafoe and some

Nevermind, found it.

Burl got a question into Ask the AV Club? When was this?

Another great "Jim is turning into Michael" moment is during the meeting when he tries to kill the Michael/Pam fight preemptively by saying "It's all good" in the lamest, most forced "hip" voice I've ever heard out of him. This season is really doing wonders for Jim and this episode was great for Pam

The werewolf movie plot didn't work for me either even as apparently a rare 30 Rock fan who really likes Jenna, but I did love her reaction to the porno scene at the end.

Wasn't one of Eric Idle's tours in recent years entitled "Eric Idle Exploits Monty Python" or somesuch? Somehow I doubt he'd be offended by the assertion that he's recycling material.

I can buy it. If there were some musical artist that I was as into as she apparently was with the violinist and technically I'm invited to a private performance of theirs, why not try to still go even if your actual connection to the people hosting it has dropped off the face of the earth? Worst case scenario is you

"Achilles' Last Stand" when it gets going too, maybe. "Rock & Roll" and "Trampled Under Foot" are the best, though.
