Bronn is the best.
Bronn is the best.
I'm wondering if we'll get a bit of ADWD next season, ie: Reek and Roose. The show writers love pairing up the characters for chats and I think Alfie Allen (Theon) and Vladimir Putin (Roose) will make for good convo.
As a short man, I feel the same way.
Did Ramsay light the beacon?
Also, the dragons looked amazing.
It's Qyburn. Also, I think Melisandre and Gendry were just sailing from the Riverlands back to Dragonstone. Going right past King's Landing with the infamous Red Priestess on deck seems… ill advised, but hey, Martin wrote the scene. I did like that Gendry knows he's Robert's bastard, though.
This is good news. The people behind COMMUNITY keep their jobs, we don't end the show on that dire note from last night, and after the critical trouncing this season got, I have hopes the show-runners will stop doing fan service and trying to out Harmon Harmon, and make the show their own.
That was a beautifully buried Chubawamba allusion.
I think I'm mostly just mad that they screwed up Jeff graduating, which should be an easy 22-minutes of pathos and humor as Jeff prepares to leave Greendale behind, and which should be a good season/series cap. I think a better plot would be Annie/Dean planning an elaborate farewell (and Troy/Abed planning an equally…
All right, so say this is it, the last episode of the last season. I'm a DVD completionist when it comes to my favorite shows, but I'm torn on COMMUNITY. Of course I'll have Seasons 1-3 on disc, but what of Season 4?
R.I.P. A great artist and dreammaker.
Cut every instance of "where do whores go?" and "words are wind" from ADWD and the book is actually only 75 pages.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates the Iron Islands and the Greyjoys. I dread those chapters (other than Theon). I'm still not sure how I ended up hating plot lines involving a bunch of Cthulu-worshipping Vikings who have meetings in the skeleton of a dead sea-monster, but it might be b/c they always feel like…
Plus, he presumably would have seen Bolton banners at some point during the siege of Winterfell last season. But I guess you can chalk it up to torture-induced insanity.
Who do you feel more sorry for? Theon, or the show runners attempting to make Books 4 and 5 into compelling TV?
There *was* nothing wrong with my name, until I turned 12 and that no talent ass clown became famous and started flaying people.
The Boltons are coming to a bad end, probably in the next book.
Ramsay is worse, but Joff is more hateable since he's such a such a nasty, sniveling little brat. Ramsay's at least open and honest and gleeful about being the embodiment of pure evil.
Rabin, you and your flops will be sorely missed. Godspeed, you magnificent bastard.
Yeah, I'm gonna find the Red Wedding far less tragic in the show. Which I'm weirdly okay with. This series has so many gut-punches, I'm okay if it pulls one every now and then.
