They’d never sell in huge numbers, but performance models selling a few thousand units a year could be worth it to buy some mindshare. There’s so few options now, anything remotely enthusiast-oriented is surprassing all sales expectations.

I agree that it’s functional, but from the outside looking in it looks like an afterthought.

The shift knobs are cool and all but hold the phone, Rory is back!?!?

as a q5 owner, i wholeheartedly agree. it sucks but i love the rest of the vehicle. really wanted the all-road but the wifey said no...

It is surprisingly usable as an everyday car. Before mine went full racecar, I used to take it to get groceries and drive to work all the time. Realistically it is about as usable as a civic, albeit with a nicer interior.

Working for peanuts shouldn’t mean sacrificing your life or dignity.

Absolutely, I love the S5 Sportback, RS5 if I had some more money to spend.

I had a Type R for a while and having torque was definitely very nice. I love high-revving NA engines, but a setup like this is a lot more usable day-to-day.

Yep. It’s an S4 but more useful.

It seems like the M340i should at least be mentioned in here.

You want something other than gray, black, or white? And not an SUV??? There is obviously something wrong with you! Sez the guy with the irreplaceable green on red\brown BMW wagon. :-)

He could probably take Nyck DeBris’ spot here in a race or two.  Dr. Marko isn’t known to be the most patient man.

Sad, it’s such a nice color. Had a rental q3 in it and fell in love.

Even if he wins in the courts (extremely unlikely), the courts can’t force a team to give him a seat. Not to mention that he’s a shit driver and a shit person, so no one in F1 is eager to have him back anyway.

It’s quite the upgrade. I’ve had a few as rentals and it basically sold me on the A4 as my next car.

They have a red, green, and blue for exterior (Mercedes is all greyscale with one blue). And I’m going to defend the interior: their light grey option is much better than what Mercedes offers on the interior (black, dark brown/black blend, and more black).

I swear I wanna see this for every race until the end of the season, and I’m a Mercedes fan lol.

Doing a “True story” of a very manufactured arc seems strange

Cant remember the engineering supervisor for Chevy, but in 1992 he had his staff take a single cab S10, dropped in a corvette engine, they did install the Astro Van’s AWD system in and he used it as his daily driver for that year. Small article about it in Automobile magazine, all made from the Chevy factory parts

I’d also want to see the look on Max’s face to getting beat for the title - and Horner’s as well. Although over a season, I’d expect Max to take the title over Checo.
