Agreed

The main reason F1 is garbage in the U.S. is because the prices to see the race are insane. The Las Vegas grand prix grandstand tickets started at $2,500.

It was cheaper for me to fly to Belgium and get a 3-day pass for the race instead.

This is the major downside to having a temporary track setup, particularly in Miami. You have to justify the cost of building and tearing down the whole thing, so prices are bound to be insane.

I freely admit I did the EXACT same thing when I lived in a downtown apartment after college. Just kept my cars registered at my folks place. Which was also much more convenient because the rich suburb I grew up in registered cars at the nice little town hall, whereas in the city you had to go to City Hall to pay the

Sounds like almost everyone that I work with who also lives in a downtown area.

This is a ridiculous assertion. Apple and Google have spent billions of dollars and have decades of experience in putting together a tech user interface, and as a result we spend all day on our phones. There is no way in hell any automaker is going to do a better job, and they probably don’t care to. They just want

Remember when Jalopnik actually wrote stories about how they tested vehicles instead of writing about how a Youtuber made a video about it?

How about lynxes.  Do I need to worry about lynxes loitering in my car grille?

Clearly the “positive” to come of it (in their minds) was selling more magazines. Garbage move? Absolutely, but their intentions are clear.

Very true. Problem is, there’s no reliable Subaru of recent-enough vintage to be had to where purchase, taking care of deferred maintenance, and putting a set of winter (or at least 3 Mountain/Snowflake rated mild all-terrains) tires on it for $10k. The inland Pacific NW/intermountain West value those (and pretty much

One of the few physical games I own as they removed the digital version from the PS store.

1st gear: No shit that he expects to make the money back through a currently worthless grift for $15k.

Clickbait math.

I’m not sure how to do the correct math but if the odds of ANYONE on earth being hit are 1 in 2,467 that does not mean that MY chances are 1 in 2,467 as I’m one of 8 billion people.

I’ll make sure to put on my helmet.

Did you buy a large vehicle and make a public park your home? Will you help take care of said park? Come at me, but make it make sense

“He made his way down from Washington for the warmer weather of Southern California.”

I lol’d when i saw the Terex... was that an oversight because they had to turn in some photo- ANY photo- ASAP, or is Erin just fucking with us?

I’m going to law-nerd out here for a second. But where I live, yes, for the purposes of land use decisions, land is defined in legislation as including ‘land covered by water’. So at least in British Columbia, that is 100% a valid inclusion.
