Her lawyer must love her.

Of course Ford is American, just ask the Focus, the Fiesta, the Kuga, the Ka, the Escort Cosworth, the Cortina, the Mondeo, the Sierra, the Puma, and all the other vehicles they don’t currently or never have sold in the good ol US of A.

Laughs in 15 passenger van.

You left because a salesman tried to make a sale? ok.

Yeah I worked at a GMC/Buick dealership in sales in 2019 and that’s 100% how dealers turn a profit (well, before they started being able to gouge the shit out of new car buyers).

I’ll give you 3 guesses.

My experience doesn’t have as wild of extremes, but going from a VW dealer to an Audi one was also a massive shift. I liked the people at my VW dealer (the owner races GTIs so we got along great), but things like free food, rides, loaners, etc. really do make the experience as a whole much better.

I was at the Audi dealership a week or so ago looking at what my next vehicle may be and the salesman told me something interesting about the way they were doing ADM over Covid and now (which yes, is still Covid). He said they never went over MSRP for local buyers, but since they had a huge surge of out-of-state

If it’s anything like the “self parking” from the cars I’ve tried it in, it will be:

I’ll openly admit that these items are not targeted at me from an aesthetic point of view. That said, it does seem that wealth equals standing-out to a lot of people nowadays, so they’re probably going to sell like hotcakes.

The Audi S6 that those Cannonball guys made look like a Taurus with all the police countermeasure junk in it.

A test drove a Arteon a couple times before getting my A4. They’re sexy ass cars, but the quality of the A4 is in another league entirely and the cars were basically the same price at the end of 2021

I’m clearly biased but the S5 is a great choice. My biggest regret is getting an A4 instead of an S4/5. I’ve test driven some S5 Sportbacks and every time I do I almost go home with one. The real kicker is they’re 10 grand more expensive than they were 2 years ago when I got my 4. Stupid.

Exactly. It’d be way more time efficient to just flatbed the car than try and get behind a headlight.

Interesting. Seems like most manufacturers specific exclude these states from their corrosion warranties because after enough miles, all cars in these areas turn to dust.

I have an Audi so it’s actually a “CAN’T bus” in my situation.

Ford is going to sell a Baja Beetle? (crosses fingers that Kinja doesn’t fuck a 2-image post)

Hopefully the far right one can show Netflix or a movie or something because otherwise, what’s the point?

“Not that Rivian is doing very well”

For no other reason than “my gut feeling” I’ve always worried about Lucid surviving. I love sedans (I own one) but the market for them has been drying up for literally 20 years. Choosing a sedan, and an expensive one at that, as your first and only model always felt like a misstep to me.
